You do not have to be a member to play real tennis at the Hyde. We would prefer that you are, simply as it helps us to maintain our fantastic building and protect it for future generations. It also provides some great benefits for you. 

Anyone can book a court with us, and pay a guest fee (unless playing with a current member), and rackets are available to hire. We also provide the balls, so you only need to turn up with some clean indoor court shoes and you will be ready to play!

Our club membership runs from September 1st to August 31st.

What is "Membermojo"?

This is a club membership software that many other sporting clubs use for on-line applications and renewals, electronic payment, a central member database and group e-mail distribution, It is fully GDPR compliant.


Why is HRTC using "membermojo"?

We were keen to use an on-line membership tool for ease of use for our members and for us to be able to keep accurate and secure membership information and records. What method of payments can I use?

Direct Debit, bank transfer, cheque & credit/debit card are all available. When you get to the payment page you can select which method to use and instructions are given. In each and every case the club will confirm your membership by e-mail once funds are cleared.


Is it possible to pay my membership by instalments?

Yes, on a case by case basis. In order to keep administration costs to a minimum, we are able to offer semi or quarterly annual payment options via our Direct Debit service provider, GoCardless. There will be a small service charge incorporated in the annual equivalent subscription rate. Please contact Jay Turvill via email at membership@hyderealtennis.co.uk

Do you have a preferred method of payment?

Our preferred method of payment is Direct Debit and then bank transfer or cheque. Debit/Credit card payments via Stripe are also accepted, but do incur higher charges for us.

Do you have pro rata joining fees?

Membership fees are full price until 30th of November each year. New members joining between 1st December and  28th February are entitled to a 25% discount of the relevant membership fee; those joining between 1st March and 31st May are entitled to a 50% discount. New members joining after 1st June will get up to 15 months membership for the price of 12.


Do you have Family membership?

Whilst we do not have this specific type of subscription, if both parents are Full or Country members, their children to the age of 21 (as at 1st September) will not be charged a subscription.


How do I change my membership category or any other information?

When you login to membermojo, you can change any of your information by clicking on “Your Membership” at the top of the home page and then you can edit and confirm any details, view payment history and set or change your password.
